The wine displays distinct bright spice with a fine pepper character typical of cooler regions. It is bright purple/red, medium density with an attractive aroma of plum and blueberry, pepper and spice. Good density of fruit on the palate with a bold texture to balance the fruit. A lively wine that should age for a long time but is drinking well in its youth.
