Grape vines were first planted in the Hawke's Bay in 1851 by Marist missionaries, their legacy is Taradale’s historic Mission Winery. Hawkes Bay Trinity Hill Sauvignon Blanc has gentle flavours and aromas of lime, citrus and lemongrass complement the distinct aroma of stone fruit. A mineral element gives presence to a Sancerre-like textual character in the wine. The fresh fruity acidity is balanced by a tiny amount of retained sweetness.
Hawkes Bay Trinity Hill Chardonnay has a typically fresh aromatics of quality Hawkes Bay Chardonnay are most evident, including citrus, white flowers and stone fruit. These are complemented on the palate by a creamy richness from ageing on the lees. Roast hazelnut, almond and hints of mineral from the indigenous fermentation in the barrel.
Syrah, Trinity Hill, Hawkes Bay is an exciting wine with some of the grapes being sourced from the estates vineyards in the renowned Gimblett Gravels region. The wine shows great balance, freshness and intensity with blackberry, plum, liquorice and black pepper on the palate.
Hawkes Bay \"The Trinity\" Trinity Hill has light tannin and plum aromas from the Merlot which combine with spice and red fruit characters of the Tempranillo and Malbec. Cassis aromas and structural backbone are provided by the Cabernet Franc. Richness and soft, ripe tannins make a serious yet eminently drinkable wine.
Hawkes Bay Trinity Hill Pinot Noir has primary aromas of raspberry, plum and brambly spice which are evident on the nose. On the palate, the wine shows soft, velvety tannins and will develop complex fruit and mineral characters with bottle age.
Tinpot Hut Syrah from Hawkes Bay in New Zealand has aromas of white and black pepper, violets and plum and a subtle chocolate and leather spiciness. This wine is medium bodied and complex. Produced in the Northern Rhône style, with plum, pepper and cinnamon characters with a slight bacon note on the finish. A firm acid backbone with silky tannins harmonises the fruit and culminates in a warm, ripe finish.
Gimblett Gravels Trinity Hill Syrah is very deep and vibrant in colour, with raspberry, blueberry and vanilla on the nose. Powerful, ripe tannins give the wine great structure. Oak plays a supporting role to the wine\'s pure fruit expression. All these elements combine well to provide an exquisite long lasting aftertaste.
Gimblett Gravels \"The Gimblett\" Trinity Hill is a wine with beautiful aromatics that include blackberry, fresh blackcurrant and soft warm spice. The Cabernet family provide structure, while the Merlot gives richness and lots of fruit. Structurally the wine is complex, powerful and very food friendly.
Trinity Hill Tempranillo Gimblet Gravels has a lovely garnet red colour in the glass with attractive blackberry and ripe fruit aromas on the nose. The palate is rich and textural with beautifully soft tannins and great balance with the acidity and soft warm spice. More dark fruit, liquorice and chocolate flavours linger on the fine finish.
Gimblett Gravels Trinity Hill Marsanne and Viognier has exotic aromatics of apricot and a luscious mouth-feel. The wine is well balanced between layers of fresh fruit, mango and sweet warm spice, all providing a lasting finish.
Gimblett Gravels Trinity Hill \"Homage\" Syrah is beautifully floral with interwoven red berry purity and oak sophistication. This is a darker fruit vintage with brambly. Blackberry notes dominating the aromatics. The finish is exceedingly long with huge amounts of black cherry fruit and soft warm spice.

Medium to full bodied dry red with complexity and finesse
Gimblett Road Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot, Trinity Hill Wines, Imperial is a full-bodied but soft wine full of rich fruit flavours. A blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc which were aaged for 15 months in predominantly new French oak barriques. Bottled in late July 1998.
