Lochlea Our Barley, Single Malt Lowland Whisky has been matured in a combination of bourbon, oloroso sherrybutts & str casks. The nose opens up with a burst of pear syrup and fruit bon bons, followed by hints of zesty marmalade and cinnamon. The palate shows the signature Loclea fresh fruit and cereal with a luscious golden syrup. The finish shifts to macadamia nuts, cream soda and a lovely lasting orange beeswax note. Production Director John Campbell, ex Laphroig Distillery, refined the cask recipe over several months with the final whisky being decided by a blind tasting by the Lochlea team.

Lochlea Sowing Edition 3rd Crop, Single Malt Whisky is matured in 100% 1st-fill Bourbon Barrels, it is a year older than the 2nd Crop, has more weight in the spirit and was distilled at the coldest time of year so there are lovely fresh crisp notes in comparison to spirit produced in the warmer months. Bladnoch Samara Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky,“Samsara”, meaning ‘rebirth’ symbolises it’s first release and reawakening of the 200 Year Old Bladnoch Distillery.Finished in Californian red wine and ex bourbon casks, Bladnoch Samsara Single Malt is luscious, full bodied and fragrant, with a rich, lingering core. Colour: Copper gold. Nose: Quite concentrated, fruit compote, with plums, vanilla and orange blossom. Palate: A sweet winey start, then drying slightly before more plums and vanilla flavours, some citrus and a malty core. Nicely structured. Finish: Mellow and winey with a spicy, lingering tail.
