Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt Japanese Whisky contains whiskies of at least ten years of age. The nose is very clean and fruity, with aromatic notes of stewed berry fruits and rich manuka honey. There is an immediate rich burst of fruit and spice on the palate, then clove and cinnamon kick in to add depth to this fine whisky. The fruit is the dominant note on the finish, outlasting other senses of spice and toasty oak.
