Noval Black Ruby Reserve, Quinta do Noval Port, Noval Black was designed to be a clear expression of the Noval style – as easily accessible as a wine with no ageing and no decanting necessary. No complications, just a great glass of Port. Noval Black is a new blend with seductive aromas and an incredibly fresh finish. It is a style designed to be enjoyed on its own any time, chilled before dinner, or as an extravagance with a piece of dark chocolate.
Fonseca Late Bottled Vintage Port Wine is aged to full maturity in oak vats where it gradually matures and falls bright. It is then drawn off into bottle with no fining or filtration which means the wine loses none of its richness and concentration.
Offley Late Bottled Vintage Port Wine, Intense ruby colour with ripe red fruits predominate in its intense aroma, good complexity and harmony. A classic traditional late bottled vintage port wine which can be enjoyed young and will age well for some years.
Ramos Pinto 10 Year Old Quinta de Ervamoira Aged Tawny Port is reddish tawny to the rim and has a rich aroma with ripe fruit tones with spicy vanilla notes. On the palate, its smooth sweet texture shows mellow ripe fruit with a ripe raisin and spicy oak tone and a bright fresh finish with hints of sweet red fruits and dark chocolate. A superb wine on its own or with rich desserts.
Sandeman Late Bottled Vintage Port Wine is a style which is ready to drink, very pleasant and very hearty. A strong deep ruby coloured port, with a complex and intense bouquet providing flavours of mint supported by spicy notes of truffle and pepper. All leading to a complex palate with layer of fruit and spice.
Unfiltered Late Bottled Vintage Port, 2012, Quinta Do Infantado has finess, concentration and tremendous depth, more like the intensity of a 20 year old vintage port.
Fonseca Terra Prima Reserve Port (organic) is a woderfully rich, concentrated port with great flavour and texture. It has an opulent black fruit nose which is followed through on the palate showing layers of intense berry, plum and cherry fruit flavours supported by firm, but well integrated tannins. A deliciously textured Reserve Port which is velvety, smooth, succulent and plump. Try with strong blue cheeses.
Ramos Pinto Late Bottled 2012 Unfiltered Vintage Port Wine is deep red in colour with an intensely fruity aroma of ripe raspberries and hint of chocolate. Elegant on the palate, with excellent body and power. Ripe tannins and a long, decadent, anise spiced finish. The wine goes well with poultry and game dishes, as well as full fat cheeses.
Quinta do Noval Unfiltered late Bottled Vintage 2012 is a remarkable example of the Noval style. Treated exactly like a Vintage Port with only noble grape varieties from the Quinta, trodden by foot and unfiltered. Its main difference is that it is aged for four, sometimes five years in wooden vats instead of the two years typical of Vintage Ports. Definitely an LBV with a difference, with fine structured tannins, great freshness and purity of fruit. It is delicious to drink today, but will age beautifully in its bottle.
Noval 10 Year Old Tawny Port, Quinta do Noval, has a complex nose, aromas of vibrant, young fruit blend with the tertiary characteristics of dried fruits and nuts. Rich and smooth on the palate with an elegant structure and a long finish. It can be served slightly chilled as an aperitif, or as a digestive at the end of a meal.
Warre\'s Bottle Matured LBV Port 2004 is a late bottled vintage port wine of a quality level much higher than many of its peers. This attractive wine is very concentrated with powerful amounts of fruit and the natural taste sensations of a fine mature port.
Quinta do Portal Fine White Port is typically a blend of Malvasis Fina, Viosinho and Gouveio. The wine is aged for three years in old barrels where it acquires its burnt honey colour, floral aromas of rose petals and white peaches along with some orange zest and almonds. Best enjoyed chilled as an aperitif.
Smith Woodhouse Vintage Port Wine Quinta Madalena 1998, is rich and opulent, packed with berry fruit aromas and hints of chocolate and mint balanced by fine elegant tannins.
Taylor\'s Quinta de Terra Feita Single Quinta 2001 Vintage Port has a colour which is opaque purple red with magenta highlights. This has the intense berry fruit nose typical of Terra Feita, full of blackberry, cassis and black cherry aromas with hints of plum and liquorice. Round and full on the palate with ripe, mouth-filling tannins and sumptuous jammy fruit flavours on the finish. A superb fruit driven vintage port, true to the tradition of this ancient Pinhao Valley estate. Serve with strong blue cheeses and or roasted nuts with dried fruit.
Quinta do Portal Fine Tawny Port is aged four years in the barrel and still shows off lots of fresh fruit on the nose, but already with some nutty notes. This fine Tawny Port is very smooth, clean and bright, with lots of fruity flavours on the tongue. The good balance between the fruit, tannins and oak provide the wine with a long lasting finish. Try as an aperitif or with delicate flavoured desserts.
Quinta do Portal Fine Ruby Port has been aged in wood for a minimum of three years and giving the wine a rich spicy nose. On the palate it displays vigour with lots of lively fruit plus hints of almonds and hazelnuts. The finish on the wine goes well with rich soft cheeses and chocolate style desserts.
