Austrian wine making is an exciting blend of old and new skills and also modern techniques. Allram Gruner Villa Strass Zweigelt is a soft, fruity red wine which is very approachable and easy drinking. A violet-red colour in the glass this has aromas of fresh red fruit and cherry. The palate continues the flavours on the nose with soft tannins and bright cherry. A great wine which can be slightly chilled to bring out extra flavours.

It has a beautiful minerality resembling the schisty soils where the fruit is grown. This medium-bodied wine has a lovely vibrancy, smooth tannins and an elegant finish.
