Grappa di Traminer, Bruno Pilzer, grapes are from vineyards situated in the Lavis area and the Upper Adige in Trentino. The fermented Traminer grape marcs arrive at the distillery. The fermented marc gives a more structured style to the grappa. The grape marc is then fermented and distilled. The grappe are then held in tank at a high alcohol level (70% vol) until just before bottling in order to retain freshness. An aromatic grappa with a rose petal character on the nose. Herbaceous flavours on the palate with a delicate spice.
