Many people when they think of Rhone Wines they think of great big thick juicy reds----well think of whites as well.
Yes the Rhone Valley does produce some of the best and most expensive red wines in the world like Cote Rotie,Hermitage and Chateauneuf-du-Pape, but each of these districts and others like Condrieu produce some of the most richest, full bodied and stunning white wines you are ever likely to taste…..some so powerful they can be drunk with red meat and game
The best of these red and white wines can be scarce and very expensive, but many appellations like Crozes Hermitage, Gigondas, Cotes du Rhone, Cotes du Ventoux, Vacqueyres, Tavel and Beaumes-de-Venise produce fantastic wines of many different persuasions at very reasonable prices
