Austrian Wines
Austria's wines of recent years are more similar to Alsace wines than perhaps the perception that they are German wines under a different name. Their red wines like the Kaiser Garten " Zweigelt " are dark and robust with very concentrated fruit flavours, their white wines like Gruner Veltliner Kamptal have fruity and spice driven flavours. So few people try Austrian wines and so many are missing a treat
